Pupils get fully charged with help from the Griffin Foundation Trust...

Pupils at Tilbury Pioneer Academy recently received a very generous donation of £1,000 from Griffin Foundation Trust once again, to enable the Friends of Pioneer to purchase a specialist iPad charging station to ensure teachers and pupils no longer need to worry about not been able to use iPads due to low batteries.

A spokesperson for the Friends of Pioneer said, “We are extremely grateful to the Griffin Foundation Trust for their grant towards the school once again. The pupils will benefit greatly from the specialist charging station. We are delighted to be able to continue our good relationship with them and very much look forward to working with Ashley and his team again in the future.”

Ashley also commented “We are really pleased to continue our link to the school. The welcome assembly was very sweet and it was clear that the pupils were really excited to hear about their new charging station. I’m sure they will get lots of use out of it!”
