The Year 5’s were involved in an amazing, immersive experience all about what life was like during Ancient Egyptian times. The children were engaged in many activities throughout the morning, including making canopic jars, mummification and creating many artefacts they would have taken with them into the ‘afterlife’. During the afternoon, the children engaged in learning various dramatic scenes to put on a show in front of the ‘Pharaoh’ and enjoy a feast to celebrate! Many children expressed how much they enjoyed the workshop by the end of the day and were excited to take their created pieces home to show parents!
