As part of our DT unit, Year 1 enjoyed a visit to Barleylands Farm.

During the day, the children had the opportunity to make their own pizzas and develop their understanding of where our food comes from. They also enjoyed feeding the animals and taking part in a tractor ride around the farm.

The visit provided the children with a valuable opportunity to build on their classroom learning through practical, hands-on experiences. They thoroughly enjoyed exploring the farm and learning more about food and its origins.
