TPA thoroughly enjoyed celebrating christmas, the celebrations featured a festive Christmas dinner, lively performances, and a Christmas jumper day, which all contributed to a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. It was a special opportunity for students and staff to enjoy the season together and take part in shared celebrations.
Year 3 and the Wings provision had an amazing trip to Colchester Castle.
We were able to explore real artefacts, explore the history that Colchester has to offer and event go underneath the castle to sit in the foundations built by the Romans.
During Anti-Bullying Week 2025, the Pioneers embraced the spirit of kindness and inclusion by making great use of the friendship bench. Our Wellbeing Ambassadors helped promote the week by proudly handing out stickers to their fellow Pioneers, spreading awareness and encouragement. Pupils also celebrated their individuality by wearing bright and colourful odd socks on Anti-Bullying Day, showing that everyone’s uniqueness should be valued.
During Autumn 1, our Head Pupil agenda focused on clubs at TPA. We discussed and evaluated which clubs are often fully booked and which have been long-standing favourites, exploring the reasons behind their popularity.
During one break time, we gathered pupil voice through a Graffiti Wall activity, asking everyone what clubs they would like to see in Autumn 2. These ideas were then shared with the Leadership Team (staff), who helped to narrow down the suggestions.
In Week 7, pupils took part in a final vote to decide which new clubs they’d most like to see introduced. I hope you have been happy with the selection available this half term.
