In PE this half-term, the children have been developing their skills and confidence through a range of exciting athletic events. So far, they have been practising javelin, shot put, long jump and track racing, learning the techniques and determination needed for each activity.

The pupils have thoroughly enjoyed spending time out on the field, where they have been encouraged to challenge themselves, improve their performances and support one another as part of a team. Through a balance of fun and friendly competition, the children are building resilience, teamwork and fair play, while also developing their fitness and coordination skills.

The Year 2 children planted their own seeds as part of a project, creating a personal plant diary. They learned about what plants need to grow, including water, sunlight, and care. Each child took responsibility for planting their seed and began to understand the importance of looking after a living thing.

As they continue to observe their plants over time, the children will record changes such as growth, leaves, and height in their diaries. This helps them develop observation skills and an understanding of how plants change and grow.

Pioneer 3–2 Warren

What a nail-biting game from start to finish—right down to the final whistle! The team showed incredible determination, resilience, and teamwork to secure a well-deserved victory.

Facing a strong Warren side, including players from professional club academies, our boys rose to the challenge and delivered an outstanding performance to be crowned Central Division Champions! TPA were awarded the shield.
